:D Went out to the Legendary Letort here in South Central Pennsylvania. For those of you who don't know about the Letort, it has a long history of Fly Fishing with names attached to it like Vince Marinaro, and Charlie Fox. Both of these men were pioneers in our sport of delicate presentations to small stream trout. Anyway went out today March 10th to try my luck on the warmest day of the year so far, about 57 degrees. Fished my way upstream for awhile with no luck on drys or nymphs so I walked all the way upstream and started fishing a large streamer downstream. Started drawing strikes right away and ended up catching a 23 inch 6-7 pound brown trout. YEE-HAW. My first trout of 2007. Hopefully they only get bigger from here on out.
