Well wouldn't ya know it, I got a tag this year and just found out i can't use it :mad:

I have back surgery 3 days before my season, I am going to try if i can walk but it sounds like i'm going to miss out this year. I guess i'll have to wait for fall season now.

DUDE that's a bummer!!! I got 2nd season for St. Clair, and 5th for Madison. Bring on the birds. What season do you have B? Maybe we could get out via the boat or something where you don't have to walk too much???

I got 2nd season in williamson County, my buddy might have a place if his friend says its ok that i might be able to walk about 100 yards. I hafta wait an see what the word is. I'm going to try hopefully, I don't know how the kick of the gun will hurt lol but it'll be worth it if i can get a gobbler :) I've never tried wild turkey and really want to get one.

Is it worth the risk to ruin hunting for the rest of your life for 1 turkey ?

I dont know how serious your surgery is but it being on your back I would think that would be bad news with a shot gun in your hand.

Think about it, possibly one turkey season or the remainder of hunting seasons for the rest of your life.
