They burned off some of pit 3 today. I was able to watch this bunch for over an hour while the fire was closing in. They all eventually ran through the fire at some point. It was fun to watch...

That reminds me of the old "Smokey the bear" comic books we used to get in school. My kids came home from school the other day with the same comic book they gave me 30 yrs ago.

yea i was out there too just to check things out and saw deer pouring out from the smoke. it was pretty neat to watch. wish i would have had a camera to take some pics
