one and three would be my favorites..have you experimented with RAW yet? Or any type of photoshop filters or regular old fashioned kind? I've got a tiffen filter tha would I betcha make 3# really pop..if you'd like me to run it on it to see let me know...I don't ever touch anybody's shots without asking first...
The comp in number 3 with big chuncks of snow/ice really make it interesting!

By all means please do. I would very much like to see it. And no, as of yet with only having one sd card I haven't set the camera over to raw format. The file size seems to grow quite a bit when you do and I am still learning this camera. And the only options I have right now for photos, is running them either through windows or the Picture Project that came with the camera.

RAW format shots are huge..and wil eat up your card fairly quick..not to mention hard drive space (thus the shelf full of external drives attached to my desk lol) you might try downloading a free trial of Paint Shop Pro from corel..it's good for learning with..and Picasa is a good organizing software with basic editing and its completely free

That was at the Coles Creek area with the beach and campgrounds.

I really like my polarizer filter...I used it tonight for several shots which Im trying to get around posting.....lol

Ron you could try shooting in fine if you don't want to shoot in raw yet.....however the file sizes are still a little larger as well

AWESOME SHOTS! I like #3 the best too, and gretchens version in post #10 is really cool, does make it pop!
ISP, that air boat is wild looking, is it loud? does it go over ice? about 25 years ago a guy gave me a small air boat motor, wish I had some pics of that thing, it was a 5 hp briggs & stratton motor with about a 32" wooden blade, cage around it, clamped on the back of boat transom, it was really loud and didn't go very fast. I remember the first time I took it out, we went to Daniels in Freeburg, boat only went about 3 mph, we were going down the Channel from boat ramp to main lake, when we went around one corner these guys were laughing, said they thought a helicopter was coming around the corner. lol ! just a little redneck, don't ya thank?

That second filter makes it look more arctic. But everyone in my house liked the first one you touched up.

My qual is set at fine with medium size. I guess I could set up the size to lrg but that takes it up from 4.1 to 7.3 MB. And if I go to raw it takes from 4.1 on medium size Fine to 11 MB raw. Like I said I only got one sd card right now :( , it is a 2 gig but I like to set the camera on rapid fire so that I have better odds of getting a good picture. :P

Once I get a second card I will move qual to raw. Then I can do like Gretch and have a bunch of external hard drives sitting around! My wife will like that!
