Does anyone know or seen anyone float tube any lakes or strip pits around the area? I have a float tube and curious if it safe to fish in it around these areas.

I used to use a float tube at Pit 3 (Peabody FWA). There is a lot of water you can use one on. I was thinking about getting another one actually. My old one I sat real low on the water, and I didn't like it too much. I know where there is a pontoon style for about $120.

NOTE: I'm not totally sure here, but you might have to actually register your tube to use it in state owned waters. Like a canoe...
