i caught this feb.19th near the dam!

Nice bass for sure. Heck of way to introduce yourself.
I only ever fished there once for cats...

What other fish do they have in that lake? i was told walleye but i can't find it on DNR.

They suppose to have walleye and I know once a year they turn out trout. I really have not had much luck there till now but its only about 7 miles from where I live so I go there alot just to get out. I have had good luck with catfish there though.When they put the trout out it gets pretty crowded. I seen guys stand on the boat ramp and dangle it down in front of the fish and pull them out one right after another. Later after they left I went down to where they where fishing and there was yellow trout nobblets layin on the dock so I guess thats what they where using.

I should have call this one fish of the day....It would have swallowed the little fella I caught yesterday whole.

Nice catch. That is really good for bluegill and i have caught some walleye outta there... one of em was around 3 pounds but the rest were very small 8 inches maybe... Never really tried the lake for bass but have caught a few small ones. Used to go there all the time with my grandpa and hammer some nice bluegill.

Cheapo Mepps agula # 3 knock off made by Gitzit ?? Its the wal-mart knock off... Mepps is about a $4.00 lure and the knock offs are $1.78. it was the 1/4 oz. weight. Its got the 3 or four wooden balls on it.

That sure is a nice largemouth, i fish out there probably 30 or 40 times a year fishing for everything, but ive never caught one like that, they're in there though.
