Has anybody fished or heard what's goin on up there? I have the next 2 days off, and was thinking about going up to try for some sauger. The river level dropped this week, at least down here...

That sounds like fun. I miss fishing for walleye/sauger. Thems sum good eatin fish :) lol.

I went a couple of weeks ago when the water was still way up. It has come down about 10 feet since then. The boat ramp should be back open. Best bet it to fish right there by the suspension bridge with a jig and minnow. You will still need a pretty heavy jig to keep it on the bottom. We usually have to use 1 oz jigs this time of year. Buy lots of them because there are lots of big rocks on the bottom. Let us know how you do.

Nope, I had a sick kid, then the snow came. I will have off Sun. - Wed. this week, and will try again. Either the spillway or Baldwin. I'm goin someplace.:D

From what ive been hearing theres been alot of nice bass cought out at baldwin. Ive been tryin to get out there but noone wants to go. They say its too cold. I think they are just pussies
