LOL Birdhunter1 10-30-2007, 16:25 Well Bob I have had my eyes on Deno's Ruger Red label 28 for a few years, had my hands on it several times but he always manages to get it back before I leave the clubhouse. Even with all the refinement qualities I possess as a Birdhunter I am still a meat hunter living by the belief of the one man-one gun hunter. You know the man who hunts with one gun and one gun only and while it ain't purty he can shoot very (I'm an idiot for swearing)(I'm an idiot for swearing)(I'm an idiot for swearing)(I'm an idiot for swearing) well, I even surprised Deno with my shooting this morning. Gretchen can verify I took 3 shots and hit two quail and a tree or weed. I use to be the one gun one dog man but I switched from my 870 Wingmaster 12 and one dog to my Beretta and a bunch of dogs. But I still have my trusty Brittany who doesn't care what gun I use. Plus I haven't felt like shelling out $1500+ for a SS or O/U 28 gauge yet. Bird, you should get an upclose of you gun, that looks so nice..........I would like to see a macro of the middle.....Or like almost sit the camera on it towards the end and take a macro...... Birdhunter1 10-30-2007, 16:46 Bam I think I heard her say she had about 9 GIG worth of pictures from today. My dog Rocket was a very good boy and held to a solid point with us moving grass and everything all around him and I know she got some good ones. He did a great job (I told him to) at presenting himself well and offering some fantastic opportunities to gets pics. Then my dog Gunner Jo must have wanted to be the one to get all the credit because he was striking poses all morning long, the little turd! Missy could really have cared less that a camera was present, she just wanted to hunt and once in a while get scratched behind the ears. I'll try a macro shot from the barrel end later like you suggested, the macro of the receiver will not be great as there is no fancy scrollwork or anything, but on my 870 Wingmaster that is a different story as it has some beautifull scrollwork on it.
