Steven K 02-08-2007, 19:11 i think its hmmmn, 7.50 ??? teasels1 02-09-2007, 20:45 cost was $9 and parking varied $9-10 show was ok had fun but I went with limited funds.still had fun There are some specials on gear that are pretty good but you need to shop and you can do some haggling. Dennis Bob 02-10-2007, 06:47 Thing that bugs me about sportshows any more. You gotta spend money, for the privlage to spend more money. A couple a bucks is one thing, but $18-20 kinda sucks. And the exhibitors have to pay money to have a booth. Somebody is making out on these deals. Funny story... my bro just went to the Eastern Sports and Outdoors Show in Harrisburg, PA last week. Biggest one there is at least on the East coast. It was bitter cold, with 20+ MPH winds. He was off work due to the cold, and went to the show early, just as it was opening. He walked in the building with his ears about frozen, he was wearing camo, and the guy at the door asked for his badge. He just said "it's too cold for that crap." and walked in. Thought he was an exhibitor. He spent some serious coin in there too. New fly rod, and other stuff. |
