Those are some nice dogs. I usd to have a really good rabbit dog. Beagles are great dogs.

yea i love them to death, my fiance' spoils them to death so their mainly couch potatoes, but love to go outside in the woods when i give them the chance. my bitch is about to have a litter of pups in about a month, next dog im gonna get is a german shorthair pointer.

I always wanted to try a GSP, but just can't quit on the Labs. I like the versitility. You can hunt anything with em. Another dog that is good at about everything is the Springer Spaniel. Good in the water too. They can't take the cold water like a lab can though.

yea for the longest time i wanted a lab then my buddy took me out quail hunting with his german shorthair pointer, once i saw that dog lock up on a bird i changed my mind. not that labs arent any good, but a GSP can do everything is trained properly. probably be a few months before i get one. Bob did you train your lab all your self or take it to a trainer?

Very nice looking dogs you have. Nothing like the sound of beagles in the air on a snowy morning. Let me know when your female has a litter of if she did. My father is looking for one.

she has a litter 7 weeks ago, their ready to go home to a nice family
