Well I'm back. Heard someone elses arrow dink off there stand early. :( Missed a coyote, it was good to get those 1st tee jitters out of the system though. Funny thing is I was getting rid of some coffee out of the stand, and then I hear something coming in while I'm goin'. I shut it off, then resume once I see it's a coyote, and the dog comes about 5 yds from the tree while I'm goin. I get "situated", and turn around to grab my bow, he sees me and backs up 10 yards, I get a quick shot off and shoot just low.:rolleyes: Still fun. Heard one deer blowing about 5 min later. Now it's pushing 80. Too hot???

Hunted Washington County Conservation Area all day yesterday. Saw some does and tons of other wildlife. No shots though. It was a beautiful day to be out...might bit hot for deer hunting though. I'm going to try to get some afternoon hunts in this week. Good luck all.

"Cuz"

I got out yesterday afternnoon (Oct.1) was sitting in the lone tree in the middle of a cut cornfield.
Had 2 spikes that were together come in 1st then a doe w/fawn, next was a fork and basket 6 that came in together after that nothing but does & fawns.
Sat and watched 16 eating out of the field.
Didn't take a shot but it was sure great to be back in a stand with bow in hand.
