I didn't go back there yesterday, I hadn't told anyone I was going to Pine Hills, and I didn't think I should be traipsing off into the woods there alone ...I hate that part of things...but I have to be sensible... I don't mean she's just afraid of them, I mean a full grown phobia. Maybe it's from growing up where so many of them are very poisonous. When our daughters were in high school they put a coiled up rubber snake in their room to keep Mom out. She sent me in to evict the 'snake' so she could go in their room. She really freaked when one of them threw the rubber snake on her. If you're talking about going to a snake migration place we might have to pass on that particular place. She's not as bad now about snakes and even uses her rod to thrash water mocs that get too close to where she's fishing, but she still would be very uncomfy somewhere that there's a whole lot of snakes. If we're going for something other than watching large masses of snakes though, that'd be different. |
