Anyone been seeing any rubs? Went for a walk behind the house last night and saw this one.

I took my dogs for a run yesterday morning and I saw on an oak tree I have been saving at teh edge of a field that a deer had rubbed it and put a scrape a few feet from it. Didn't have my camera with me at the time.

Does seeing the actual deer count as sign? I saw a pretty nice one this morning about 0700 standing 50 feet from where my tractor was parked.

I'd say that counts! I haven't been out yet, but plan on hunting Fiday aftenoon and this weekend down in Pope County.

I've been seeing rubs for about 2 weeks now, more and more appearing as we go...

I hadn't noticed any yet..maybe I was too busy looking around for fall shrooms?

Had a fork horn rub a small tree about 12 yards from my stand Sunday morn. He fooled around within bow range for about 30 minutes. Another couple of years and he might grow up.

The buck this morning had beams several inches wider than his ears out to the side but not a whole lot of height. I called my uncle and described it to him and he said he had seen that one and it had been crossing the road at such and such and eating here and bedding there.

I tried to get a picture but I don't have Gretchens hubble telescope lens to zoom in from 300 yards out (which at 300 yards I could see his main beams were wider than his ears, he was a nice one).

Just got back from the woods......covered alot of ground but didn't see any rubs yet.....seen several old ones though.......However I was watching the kids, taking pics, looking for shrooms...etc...multi tasking again....:D :D
I bet they will start showin up soon now.......Boy, it felt good to wear long sleeves!!!.......:D :D

been seeing rubs for 3-4 weeks, all little so far, saw a few scrapes last night on a field edge.

Moved my buddies climber today and found a scrape, did jump a nice buck, will be looking for him in the morning. It was 80 frigin degrees here today, not your ideal deer weather, and yes still no rain,:(

I found my first 2 scapes of the year this weekend. Been seing rubs for at least 2weeks here in NC.

I've seen several already. The buck are marking their territory...

Saw this this morning while pushing brush out of a field with the tractor this morning. The tree is about 3/4" to 1" diameter, just up th hilll about 50 yards there is a scrape next to a tree that has slightly been rubbed.

Saw these two this morning pretty close with the car.......lol...I was watching and had my camera ready on my lap on the way to the shoot out but it was on a hill and there were cars coming so I slowed down, snapped a pic and went on......


Does were everywhere on the way there as well..........I knew I would see some though.......I always seen em going down to giant city......;)

We've seen tons of rubs down here in Franklin county....But the weather is so messed up hard to get a pattern.We got a doe last weekend and man that jerky was good.

While driving...........lol.........that's why it was blurry..and I didn't have the cam zoomed at all.....They popped out at the edge of the woodzzzzz right before Grassy there at a farm......then he turned around went back in and then they both jumped out right in front of me.....I would have come to a complete stop but there were cars coming and that road is kinda dangerous......
