I'm glad I never kept a log and nobody ever took pictures of all of our camping trips, way too much info to be used as evidence.

And there are many stories I will pass on, even the ones I am not so proud of.

I seemed to be prego in most of the journal....Something about being 8 months prego and sleepin on the ground , in the heat, in a tent, with no bathroom seemed to get in the book everytime! lol......

And no smoke...........I got prego in Nov but was always prego while I was camping because I wasn't due until aug......

Bam you are one tought woman to brave the heat, sleep on the ground while pregnant and enjoy it. I can't get over the sleeping in the heat part myself!

Yup, right on the river down on S. Williams St. at Old route 13, I used to work at Wright Do-It Center and an HVAC shop right up the street. The place was closed down long before my running days but I know where it was.

Yup, a member on here use to play for the "Natives" too. I'm not naming him or anything else because I don't know if he left with bad blood between him and the rest of the band or not.

Oh and forgot about the spiltin firewood, and puttin out the trot line.....lol...I don't think draggin for shad was prolly good for me though wiht all the fumes from the boat motor......sure was fun though......the worst thing was is that I couldn't make it all night without going to the bathroom....usually until about 3 am and I had to go and b has like the loudest truck ever with those pipes......I always felt so bad for folks in tents around us....Cause I know they heard that darn thing comin......

I wish now I had kept a camping journal like that Bam...I love Ferne Clyffe..it's primitive sites have spoiled us for every other campground ...they are so cozy and private...you have no idea there's even anyone close to you..that's where we spent our honeymoon..

Yes, g......def. before we had the kids I luved going there.. .......We'd go down at the bottom and then all the way at the end of the road...Also have some nice trail close to there but I don't know about takin kids on those......I remember a couple views I don't even wanna see again.:eek: ....lol....of course we realized we got off the trail at one point.....lol...That was the last time I was on tha trail ...I think that was in 97........lol.......

Mom and Dad camped there too back in the day......he said there used to be a dancin square there on top or something?? Talked about winning a jitterbug contest or something?? Ill have to ask about it again now......lol.....
