Rock snot and a moving current will make you feel like your walking on wet ice.

Last time I went to Bennett Springs I was thinking if I fell down I would go into that hole.
That was until I read that over 100 Million gallons of water per day come out that hole.
A good swimmer couldn't get to the bottom of that hole, it will spit you out.

I saw some people scuba diving down into the spring one time when I was there. They said that it went down about 90 feet and then made a sharp turn. I was still catching trout out of the spring while they were diving.

The odd thing about them banning the felt soles is my waders have only been used there.
This ought to be an economic stimulator for the local flyshops, I see very few people out there that wear waders with a cleated sole.
