Have you actually seen this spot and remembered it or took a guess considering most of my outdoor activites during the winter months are down there?

I waa actually sitting on that very ramp last week deciding whether or not I had the cojones to put my big boat on there as low as it is. I decided No was the answer.

Hey Bird, you might know the answer to this question. A guy told me to go down the Muddy, turn south on the MS River and go past a quarry on the IL side to the second rock dike. For the life of me, I don't know of any quarry back there nor do any of my buds. Any thoughts?

The scond rock dike south of the mudy on the Miss. would put you just south of the preserve, i don't know of any quarry that ever existed but I thought I heard someone mention it once. Deno would know for sure as he grew up down there, I do believe there is on on the other side of the river in Missouri.

Dave I wish you'd have let me know you was down there, I might have been on Deno's place somewhere. You looked right over alot of his farm from the top of the levee.

I will def do that. I came close to roadtripping south today but it was homecoming night for my pup and I figured it might not hurt to stick around the homeplace just in case. I will def give you a heads up before I come down. I did send a couple of guys (2 or 3) from work down to hunt w/ ya last year. I think they had a quite attractive young lady w/ them.

Deno remembers eeing you there once or twice, he knows there were some officers from your area down here once. Yall better come back this year.

I will. One of my fav pastimes is hunting quail...and eating them. My bud in Arkansas keeps birds for hunts for the duckhunters after the AM duck hunts. I think he gets his birds from a guy in Nashville, TN.
