Well deer season has come and gone. Not a bad year seemed to stay warm most of the time though. Today it feels like deer season and I need to start thinking about bass. Caught a few so far nothing too big. This cold weather will have them shut off for a while. Bust out the jerk bait and fish it slow. What lakes will everyone be fishing this year? We fish a lot of Cedar, Little Grassy, Devils Kitchen, but I would like to try Egypt and fish Crab Orchard more this year.

i was just looking through the basspro catalog ,circling the new things i need replaced. i fished alot of crab orchard this past year an caught alot of 5 pounders, the lake is getting pretty good again. i plan of fishing little grassy more this year since i finally got a 10 hp motor now.

anyone headin up to the basspro spring classic coming up on the 17th of feb? i make that trip every year. the wife hates that month now lmao.

I did a little fishing on Monday and caught a few crappie and one bass at my pond. The water temp was 39 degrees so I was a little surprised that anything was biting. Just got the new Cabelas in the mail too. I am already checking out what I need to buy for this year. I am probably going to get a new color sonar to play with.

Any of you fellas go out for musky down there? I've only been to Devil's Kitchen. I like camping there, and the fishing is usually pretty good. I'd like to learn a bit about SIL musky fishin...

only place i know that alot of muskies are is kinkaid lake.. never caught one there yet mostly tried for walleyes there but from what the other fisherman have told me they have a very good amount of muskie there. its a nice lake to fish or just go cruisin on. summertime ya gotta hit party cove lol just for the scenery :D

Man im starting to get eager for the bass fishing this spring. I got a few holes im bound to pull some lumkers out of.

I’m hoping for warmer weather soon. I can’t hunt and its to cold to fish. Guess that means I have to do school work. I got some spots in mind that may hold some big girls. I want to bed fish more this year, my buddy caught 7 over 4 pounds in one day last year. I want to see some fifty degree weather soon!!
