first one is a baby hen o the woods, the yellow is well truthfully I am not really sure LOL and the bottom ones are the same onion bagel ones from Sunday...just a few days older...

Chigger bites last about a week..so just keep slathering on the calagel when they strat itching...I woke up this am with a whole lot more than I thought I was going to have...sneaky little rats..make you wait 24 hours to really discover how bad they are...

I'm with Dave on the stream 'cept I'd just be splashing my face with the cool water, then taking off the boots and wading in it.

Hey G, have you tried the Benadryl gel? It woks pretty good on ivy and such...like instantly. Might work on ze chiggers too.

It does work on the chiggers! I actually usually buy the generic equiv..I am such a cheapskate...usually I have to put it on about 3 or 4 times a day...probably close to every 4-6 hours..unless I strat getting hot then..eek nothing helps em...

The water there is really clean and cool..I kept soaking my bandanna in it...ahhh just to find creek water was a treat!

Where do you get it? I'd just as soon do that too.

either dollar general or wally world...just look on the back and match the ingedients...Dollar general here doesn't always have it... I usually get swan..clear anti itch lotion...usually about 2 -3 dollars cheaper...upon closer inspection it doesn't have any topical benadryl in it, but it is the same as the caladryl gel, and it works as well both the caladryl and benadryl

That little mushroom is my fav too chy....doesn't look like your gonna get that little surprise at the bottom......

Chy - those wer eat Hawn SP in Missouri near St. Gen..it's abouut the same distance for me as the southern parks like crab orchard, Ferne Clyffe etc..they'd had rain, so I knew there would be shrooms..and it's a big Pine savannah...so there are some diferent varieties there than we have over here too..I highly reccomend it!
How did you do at Crab? Going to stop in there tomorrow on our way to the VA med Center..
