Tonight, I got this neat picture off the bridge at Wolf Creek after several boats went by.

I like #1 the best, where you can see the sky and tell the day is almost gone.

I partially used my optical zoom, but I almost never use my digital zoom anymore - I find that it compromises the pic quality to an unacceptable level. The refuge was full of deer tonight, too, but I was trying to get to the lake and catch the last light.
see we are the opp. We go for the deer instead......But b is all into watching the deer too so I guess that makes a difference.....
yea the zoom sucks sometimes don't it.......

With the limitations of my camera, unless the deer are really close or I'm able to use a tripod, my deer pics rarely turn out as good as my lake pics. I might try the deer again when I get a DSLR and a decent zoom lens, like something in the 300-400mm range.

RIGHT>> now your talking......that's what Im thinking.....We just watch em to watch em and show the kids....
teach em what we know......they love it.....usually get dq and go out there or popcorn or whatever.......
Well, IDK ...last time the green mister misty ended up on b.....I don't know we will get dq again.....lol.

Heh, we do that too - but we usually stop at the Carterville DQ on the way out of the Refuge! Less mess and C'ville DQ is the best one around! Only trick is to keep the kids quiet and content til we get to DQ -that's prolly why you let 'em have it in the car, huh? :)
Yea, thats where we went too chy....last time we stoppin in a the races...out by the airport...the remote control cars.....
Right, that keeps em quite for a while.......your catching on......lol
