FunGusAmonGus 10-04-2007, 18:03 I just seen on the news that they started today putting up the lights...They said if they strung all the lights together they would strech from Belleville to Springfield IL. I also had to throw away 2 trash bags of lights away again last year. Better start buying em now.......I even have halloween lights LIFE! lol.....And he installed another big outlet out front just for that.........we also have timers, extention cords...and the whole nine yards......we got rid of the blow ups though and most of the candy canes but it still looks nice wiht lights and such......oh and I only do white .......thought about changing though....going back to the eighties..we had the multi colored lights and the big ol c9's..... lifestudent55 10-04-2007, 18:31 Mrs Life bought halloween lights too. I had to put a double outlet out front for lights too. And yes, Mrs Life has overloaded them. Timers and everything else I still like all the multi-colors myself. I got out of having to put up Christmas lights last year though. Mike was in Iraq and it was just the 2 of us, so we didn't feel much like decorating. We've been through the light display at Lady of the Snows a few times. It's not far for us to go there. The lasers sound interesting. I wonder how they'll work them in. FUSES blow and lights come off and on at dusk......lol....also we bought some light testers too.....I spent too much time going through each one...... I went through a stage where i only liked white lights cause it looked classy like but now Im back to the redneck multi.......lmao... naw, we have tooo many I think to switch over......unless I just did the poles in multi or something IDK???
