BAM 10-04-2007, 16:22 Wanting to buy a CF memory card prefer 2gb but would probably take a 1gb. http://www.nextag.com/serv/main/buyer/OutPDir.jsp?nxtg=384a0a1c0532-A11BD22A44CA59DF&search=cheap+cf+cards&OVKWID=140466543011&OVADID=15335315511 http://computers.pricegrabber.com/flash-memory/p/152/form_keyword=cf+cards/rd=1/mode=ink_kwfeed_1/skd=1 And might try www.overstock.com too.... gretchensteele 10-04-2007, 16:48 Truthfully, by the time you calculate shipping etc..I've found walmart to be about the cheapest...do you need a super fast one? I'm a little partial to the lexar professionals..they will even withstand being run through the washer LOL ...But walmart carries lexar 80x pretty cheap...I have bought them on e bay for about 6 or 7 bucks..but then realized the shipping brought them up to darn near the same price as the local stores.. gretchensteele 10-04-2007, 16:53 My Lexar professional 4GB's came from Adorama and with a rebate they were only about 40 bucks..search the camera stores and see if someone has them on sale or with a rebate flatlander 10-10-2007, 22:14 Know anything about this brand ? http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3281679 lifestudent55 10-10-2007, 22:40 It has a lifetime warranty. To tell the truth I haven 't heard of any problems the past few years with memory cards. gretchensteele 10-11-2007, 04:06 It doesn't give a write speed, but unless you are looking for a super fast write sped and writing huge files I can't see why this wouldn't be perfectly fine..and Tiger Direect is a great place. They have super customer service, and I have been happy with everything I've gotten from them. Help me remember - what are you going to be using the card for? DetectDave 10-11-2007, 06:30 I give TigerDirect a tthumbs up too. flatlander 10-11-2007, 07:04 It will be used to store pictures with this. http://www.siloutdoors.com/showthread.php?t=2208 Then I can clear the MS Pro's that are used in my trail camera's and keep pictures I want to save on the CF. |
