I was stationed 30 miles from DC for 3 years and saw one near my house. I called and reported it to the game warden who told me there were none in the area. 3 weeks later a guy I worked with got a call from a friend of his who had just hit one with his car. From where I saw it to where it became road kill was less than 2 miles. Yep, the game warden got another call. :)

Nope, little security post called Vint Hill Farms Station in Warrington, VA. It is closed now, about 800 military and 1000 civilians worked there when I was there, it was GREAT duty.
