2005 Gun Hunt, this is a buck she shot first, dropped it, it laid there for about five minutes, then got up like it wasn't even hit and came over by me, I made sure he didn't go any farther...

that's right mine did, when the buck got up she couldn't shoot again because she forgot her extra slugs in the truck, I told her if you want that buck you shoulda put him down, and besides she always kills bigger deer than me and I have to take what I can get, even if she has to wound 'em and send 'em my way...

now now, huntrz yoo better be nice to you wife, remember she knows how to use a gun.........lol.....

I still got a bare spot of the wall here, maybe I am just gonna have to draw a big buck there........:D

heck no I didn't mount it, had my wife with me... oh, :D no I didn't have it mounted, luckily it's rack was a little uneven, just not into the big taxidermy bills anymore, we have three hangin' in our living room and the rest are hangin' in our basement for no one to see. oh well, maybe one day I'll get that basement finished and have a place to bring people in to show them all the crap I got stuffed, 10 fish, 2 hogz, 1 coyote, 1 turkey, several turkey fans and about 7 more deer, oh and somewhere I have a squirrel mounted, little fox squirrel.

lol......You should learn how to do it yourself with all those........yikes.....that's alot of stuffed wildlife:eek: ........How much does a buck cost to get mounted these days? 200-300?
B doesn't wanna get any more fish stuffed unless they are bigger, thank goodness....

a good taxidermist charges $400 - $500 for a deer shoulder mount, and usually takes up to a year to get back, I did try to mount a few myself years ago, I did a button buck I killed on Christmas Eve evening '89, a doe I killed on Thanksgiving '90 & a doe I killed on October 1st '92. it was a lot of work, I had much more time on my hands back then, not that kinda party anymore.
