Whites were slow for us anyway.. Lake covered in balls of shad, made you wonder if they could even see your lure for the shad. Caught some short, fat largemouth.. Gave up and went down below the spilllway, more largemouth, one real nice, one 10-12 lb grinnel, that was interesting.. Never even seen one, thought it may be a snakehead for a minute.. Have more respect for the species after seeing the strike and the fight, I could get into that. A shame that spot is so far from the house. Oh and to the old witch looking lady fishing on the ramp when we came in... It is called a boat ramp because IT IS FOR BOATS!! Get out of the way, mix your cauldron somewhere else!!
