I had to gt just a few more to further the education of those that have never been around this sort of stuff:

This first picture may look llike a turkey slate call but what it does is senses grain dropping on it and reports to the cab on how much is getting blown out the back of the machine:

This is why farmers get carpal tunnel in their right hand, everything is on the right:

This is basically a joystick, it controls forward or backward movement of the machine, the buttons (left to right) the first controls the reel (the big thing that spins around) in and out and up and down, the nest one controls the header up or down or tilts it side to side, the next one on the far right swins the unloading auger in or out. The yellow button turns the auger on to unload grain:

Even though the new 2588 won't arrive till Monday I'll still put some photos of it on here, not near as many though. Here is the last one i am putting up for this months theme:

The two yellow buttons in picture #2, the one on the right turns the internal machine (rotor, chopper, fans, augers), the one on the left turns the header and feeder house on. The one on the right has to be on to run the one on the left so you don't fill up the machine while it is not running. Turning the guts on when they are full would be very bad and I'd hate to know what would snap in two if that happened but I am sure it wouldn't be a cheap easy fix.

Go back and look at the guts of the combine post and it may explain a little more, then again you may be lost. Bam you'd always be welcome to come down while Deno is running it, if ya got there early enough he'd show you a little bit about it I'm sure.

Plus you could get a ton of pictures!

All of these pictures have been within a fw miles south of the big Muddy river in Union county, the very northwest corner of the county so you were probably not near us.
