P41 & SSS that thing will be a speed demon. :D BAM 09-28-2007, 21:59 Nice Set Up! gretchensteele 09-29-2007, 07:55 hey you two..I'm going to need some help with a trail cam..We have got to get one and soon! The big cat is back in the bottoms by nine mile creek... Critter tracked him/her yesterday..but the camera was in the truck at the shed instead of in the tractor..he swears the prints are the size of his hand...tracked it up nearly one full row and the it cut across and zigged a little then he lost the tracks when it went in the woods.... we hav egot to gte this cat on film... One of the neighbors evidently did last year on a trail cam, but DNR said the images were "created via computer" horse poop. Critter swears that there's two..one is really dark..nearly black and they other is regular fawn colored... huntrz 09-29-2007, 08:19 WOW! that would be cool to get a big cat on cam, how many times has critter seen it? how close? so did he see it yesterday? or just find the tracks? what part of Nine Mile? if they are in the same area very much it probably wouldn't be too hard to get a pic, put a little bait out and draw them in front of the cam. I don't know why the DNR keeps denying they're here, I wouldn't even bother telling them about it. carpsniper 09-29-2007, 10:05 hey you two..I'm going to need some help with a trail cam..We have got to get one and soon! The big cat is back in the bottoms by nine mile creek... You said it's back. How long has it been gone? Those things have a huge range. BAM 09-29-2007, 10:29 hey you two..I'm going to need some help with a trail cam..We have got to get one and soon! The big cat is back in the bottoms by nine mile creek... Dane, G I think if I was you I would be doing a wedding, yes a wedding!!!!!Then take the profits and buy 10 trail cams to get that......lol...... Critter needs to keep a cam in the tractor..can you get a pic of the prints? Why would DNR keep saying that they are not here when there are pics and sightings? And wasn't one killed over there or something by the menard house or was that something else? I glad he's back around....hope you get some shots....... Huntrz, you might need to set that up on G's property.....lol...... huntrz 09-29-2007, 12:36 Huntrz, you might need to set that up on G's property.....lol...... Yea, set up with my bow, and shoot the big cat that's just digitally enhanced into the woods, wonder what they would do if you did shoot one, since they deny they're even here, plus I don't think there is a law that says you can't shoot them. gretchensteele 09-29-2007, 14:52 DNR told critter if he shot and brought it to them, he would be fined etc...they are considered I think protected... he see's it periodically throughout the year in the bottoms off buttercreek rd... I'm just guessing that's where this one was again..he has a fair grasp of it travels and pattern so he would know where to put the trail cam(s) up... he hit the door last night saying , " we have to get a trail cam..like now" eveidently the cats are most active this time of year..he doesn't see it often during the winter..hopefully ho took the camera along today..and hopefully he'll get some shots of the paw prints... If not, I'll have to go down there and shoot the paw prints... just got off the phone with him.. I'm going on another safari..see what I can scare up, and what I can find for tracks... |
