umm yeah that would indeed! I remember nearly hitting one with the truck..it was the first time I had ever really seen one up close..and even in the big truck I was amazed at their size...The are just magnificant animals! Boy would I love to be able to photograph one of those in the wild...
When I lived in Yellowstone, I watched a calf moose be born under my dorm window... I was late for work that day... LOL I didn't care....

I was elk hunting with a bow in Montana, and ran face to face with a big moose,,,liked to scared me to death! Those are big animals!
I would rather go Moose hunting than Elk, something about the Moose and the area they live, when I went Bear hunting in Ontario, I went scouting for Moose with one of the guys I was with, it was awesome sneaking around their homet urf along the edges of the lakes and swamps, seeing their tracks and trails and scat, we didnt see any moose on the scouting trip but did see some later on the way home, my friend who I was with that day is in Ontario hunting Moose right now with a bow, wish I was there. he's ask me to go, just hard to make it all work, then there's the cost of the hunt.

Bob that would have been a reason to miss work! I was just amazed at the size...I was in a cabover and I swear the moose was looking in the windshield at me...well it sure seemed that way LOL

I with you H.
I've been twice and if I could afford to go again, I'd already be packing. LOL
To choose between Elk and Moose would be tough...

Oh man, that was intense Donuts! I'd be shaking for a week after an encounter like that. Bow hunting big game is a great equalizer. Gives them an even chance too.
Bob, I think I'd have been late to work too. As much as I enjoy work (and yes I do), watching a moose calf being born would really be exciting.
