DSC-P52 (3.2mp), same cam as a P32 but a little longer and has the lens that sticks out from the body some.
Thats why the case has a snorkel on it, also can be bought for a little less then a P32.

Obviously spray paint camo. LOL
Uses a LE control board and I have approx $140 in it.

edit
I started puting electrical tape around the flash because the silver color of the Sony camera stands out to much.

so how is the LE board? how fast is this cam? how do you set the lens, does it come out every time it fires up. or is it set in a permanent position? it looks like the cam is setting sideways, can we see the inside? is that a 1040 case? why didnt you put the KICKARSE camo job on this?

man, $140 is cheap, I could use 2 or 3 of these.

Gretch, you should have one, once you try it, then you'll be trying to figure out how to the best shots you can.

The P52 doesn't have a extending/retracting lens like the P72.
It (lens) does stick out past from the face of the cam though.
I got the P52 at a good price as not working/damaged.
It had a stuck lens cover that as you know will cause the camera to shut back off. when it powered on.
Just open it up unplug the shutter cover motor and physically open the shutter cover.
I always disable them any way so the cam is quieter.

I have several LE, most of my cams have them and they work fine other then the slow shipping that is used to get them to me.

Haven't had this out yet just finished it night before last and its in a 1040 that is horizontal.
But the P52 and P32 are the same other then the lens sticking out so it should be the same as a P32 speed wise.

After I finished it I was wondering if the snorkel would interfere with the PIR detection when something approaches from the one side but I am hoping its (snorkel) short enough that it wont.
Was going to put the board at the top but didn't think I would have enough room to goop the lens between the cam and the top of the 1040.

Could have saved another $15 if I didn't use the quick detach mount on the 1040.
I use a QDM on all my trail cams, once you use one you wont want to go with out.

Gretchen, don't feel bad, I want one too....too many toys to buy for sure! Instead of us narrowing down the hobbies they just keep spreading ...

Flat, nice job on the camera........looks like lots of work and time was involved~!
