LOL, yeah and you can practice on something less dangerous too. Those are cool pics. Nice job.

The wasps we have around our house are just too mean to take pictures of. We've both been stung by em, and it smarts worse than any bee sting I've ever had. You're definitely braver around them than I am. Bees, on the other hand, seem pretty easy for me to get close too. The only bee sting I've had in the past few years was because I accidentally set my arm down on one. My fault there. The wasps stung us just for being in the area.

Thanks, Ya know I really can not remember the last time I have or for that matter if I have ever been stung, i'm sure I have just can't remember when, oh well guess thats a good thing, my lil sis is that way automatic ER TRIP with a sting on her, swells up fast.

Those are some awesome shots of paper wasps! You were brave to get in close like that, especially if it was above 80 deg. outside! The one in the second picture is a female, so she could have stung ya.. but the other 3 pictures are males, without stingers. :)

They love to nest at the top of the bins..pull the top off and look out cause they will come fogging out of there..the heat from the dryers makes them very happy little creatures...
Just ask poor ol critter...
