Whenver someone gets inside when the bin is full is very dangerous, the grain can slide and you can fall through and nobody would even know you were in there, and it would smother you. gretchensteele 09-27-2007, 11:18 I growl at him all the time..but he usually only puts the harness on if he's going to be on top a good while or welding... I've been on two EMS calls that we had to fish people out of grain bins when the grain got em..not fun.. probably why farming is the 8th most dangerous occupation in the US....timber cutters are # 1 (and of course the hippie does that too as sideline...)
