I havnt posted here for a bit, been going through a family tragedy. For those of you who found out and sent notes, thank you very much, my brother as well as all of Amandas friends and relatives appreciate your caring and concern. I have a hard time writing this, so I will just copy my "myspace blog" and link you into the stories. I will try and edit some of my language as best I can here, but Bob, you might want to recheck and edit somemore.

I guess its hard to start this sort of thing, when something like this happens, its usually an article in the paper or an episode on some CSI show. When it happens to your family its difficult to put it down. My brothers 14 year old daughter, Amanda, was brutally murdered for absolutly no reason. The name of the piece of sh#@ animal that did it is Jesse Pitts (he does have a myspace page, if you want to stop by and tell him what you think )

Amanda, was only 14, a cute little girl with nothing but life, how can this happen. What makes someone do this, that rat bastard hit that beautiful little girl in the back of the head 7 times with a car jack handle! They say that god works in mysterious ways and there is purpose to everything....bull f@#$ing sh@#! There is no way that anything will ever come out of this that will be worth the pain and anguish that my brother Sean, Amandas mother Laura and her sister Suzanne, are going through, or the waste of such a young life, or the flustration and helplessness that those of us that are close to them feel. There is no punishment to fit the crime, no words to describe the pain, and no way fill the void.

Due to circumstances, I did not know Amanda. I saw her when she was young, and held her once, but life and releationship interfened then geography seperated me from the family. On occasions, I would think of them and wonder how they are doing and what they looked like, I would assure myself that here someday, I will find out their phone number and give a call and check in. Their phantom uncle, who they would never recognize on the street, did care. I just never got a "round to it" Now its just another wieght to add to the load I carry with me. To be sure, let this be a lesson to all, give a shout from time to time to those who are a part of your life and family, you never know when some soulless piece of sh@# with no conscience will step in from the shadows and wayliegh the oppurtunity to be a decent person.

All I can offer is prayers for you and your brother's family. My folks used to live in Anderson. This is one of those times when I really don't know what to say, but we're here for you.

an article in the paper or an episode on some CSI show.

This right here is why I HATE watching these shows (based on fact my ass, they are making money on other peoples tragedy)

Our thoughts and prayers are w/ you and all your family.
