I was at River King today at beaver lake and seen alot of Gar swimming around neer the sirface. That lake needs to get rid of those Gar I'm tierd of seeing them all the time. A few weeks ago I had a 3 or 4 foot one on my line. It bit a Yum ribbon tail worm. I was using Power Pro line so it couldn't brake it but it faught like hell. When it got close to the boat it jumped 4 feet out of the water. Scared the hell out of me because before that point I thought I had a big bass. I cut my line after I knew what realy was.

Where is this? Most of us really enjoy shooting gar. And a whole bunch of us really like to eat 'em too.

Yeah Bambam, that's the same road. It takes a bunch of turns and stuff, but that's it.

or for Wal Mart 13 to 153 to the Mine and hang a right...cuts across to 4 :p
There was this huge flap when the shooting complex opened because the state had the signs sending people off 13 onto 154 in Pinkneyville to Sparta and bypassing Coulterville and Tilden all together...so then the state put up two signs..one pinting right and directly beneath it one pointing left:eek: .... not sure what's still up there right now...
