Absolutey amazing how much water is there. Do you think they are getting the walkins planted for duck season?

What road is this in the second photo?
the first one is the Dam West Marina and area. Looking down lake road, it looks like part of Governors Run Golf Course may be under water a bit.
the second one as swampman said is the entrance to Hazlet. If you look at the top of the picture you can see where the "Y" is as you enter into the park.

Just slide the pontoon off the trailer from the road.....:eek:.....LOL
A jet unit would help through the timber/road/pick-nik tables etc.........:D
Your right, it will be awhile before one can use Allen Branch ramp. :(
The high water ramp at Keysport is closed also (above the tracks).
Looking at the water today shows it's dropping pretty quick. Give it a week or 2.

I thought it would be a while to launch a boat in Allen Branch but as of 11:00am the water had dropped below the road entering Hazlet so let IDNR clean up the debris and watch for info when there open. They are letting a LOT OF WATER out at the spillway.
The high water ramp at Keysport is open.

IDNR said they hoped to have it open by Memorial Day. Opening up the spillway is going to add a lot to the river downstream though.

Hazlet is open now but the Allen Branch ramp is still closed. You can use the Apache ramp in the park. By the looks of it, it won't take much more of a drop in the lake to get the Allen Branch ramp open. Open for Memorial Day is do-able.
