Thanks, I am still editing , I used up a whole card already at the Fort!...But G had more in her pocket ...lol.....you know she's prepared to take 100's of shots.....lol
gretchensteele 09-20-2007, 06:55 I actually had 9GB worth of cards.....LOL... Bam could have shot for days....
The bridge is super bam...I never have a much luck with the bridge...I never seem to be there when the lighting is right..you did good on all of these...start putting your change in a jar...your gonna need it for a new camera...LOL Maybe Santa will bring one.... :)
lifestudent55 09-20-2007, 07:49 I've never needed that much memory for my camera yet. I guess you all tend to take a lot more pictures than I do.
gretchensteele 09-20-2007, 08:26 I don't normally use that much except at wedding and events...and remember since I shoot RAW my individual picture files are right at 9 and 10 MB each..plus I usually bracket them ( 1 stop under exposed, correct exposure and 1 stop over exposed) so I can rack up a bunch in nothing flat...
lifestudent55 09-20-2007, 08:37 That makes a difference. My little point and shoot won't do RAW and my shooting's just for fun so a 1GB card goes a long ways.
carpsniper 09-20-2007, 08:53 Those are all good. I have to say the bridge is my favorite.
Um, gretchen must have forgot what time we were there. ......I have a little secret about the bridge.....maybe I should put it on learning better photography....5 and 6 I didn't even edit at all....the others I just sharpen and cropped I think.....But the bridge needed some help!
thanks though.....
carpsniper 09-20-2007, 09:15 LOL, yeah good editing software can sure make a big difference.
actually it was done with free editing software....lol..but yea that's something I kinda have to do with my little cam that I have......It' helps alot, but I don't wanna go overboard. I usually just try to crop and sharpen most of mine....sometimes I adjust the brightness and contrast but that's about it...It takes a long time to edit all that crap too....I know i still have pics that I need to go through now.....lol...
Ok so here's the original:(

And here is the edited one.:) .....I really messed with this one alot....I usually don't do that but the original just was not working for me....

gretchensteele 09-20-2007, 19:37 Edited version is much better...I have a heck of a time with that bridge....
I never done that before but I thought I would try after seeing how bad the orginial looked...and all of em looked like that.......:(
chymerikaen 09-20-2007, 20:29 Lovely bridge pic - wow! Were you on the river or on another bridge when you took that?
I really love the monarch one, too. Wonderfully vibrant colors.
Thanks, naw, we was um IDK, over by a little gravel road on the rivefront over behind the popeye statue in chester??? Does that help? lol.....
