For those of you planting food plots:
Have you ever thought about just sinking a disk and walking away?
If you have old CRP that is 100% grass covered sink a disk. You will have to make sure it's okay with NRCS first, but they will pay you 13 dollars per acre disked. Many of the contracts after 2001 require some type of management.
The above is for non-fescue dominated stands.
