Just wondered how all of you found the site???

Someone on another site found it asked me if it was my site.
I use silbowhunter there.

I found it when doing a search on google for one of your sponsors (Bruce Combs) who's doind some taxidermy work for us.

I was gonna get the name for my site but you had it:) so i decided to visit.

JDAWG told me about this place, sent me an email saying this is something that might interest you.

To be honest it didn't impress me right off the bat and it was a little while before I joined. It was early in the life of this place now I check this place before the news sites!

I did a Google search on albino deer and found a friend had linked my web page to albino deer to this site. I am sure glad I stumbled in here I really like this place.

I read the article about the armadillo. Seen the website mentioned in article. I think it was belleville news demo.

Some guy with the handle "DumBass" posted on the Illinois Bowfishers forum over on HuntingNet.
Now I post more on here than there...:o

i was looking on another hunting site and someone else was talking about it.

Was looking for information regarding hunting conditions in Southern Illinois. Ya know, how were folks doing, is the game active or are you having to beat the woods for them, that sort of thing. And I must say, every question I have ever had about SILO has been answered 200%.

I was searching google for hunting near Scott AFB, as we had orders to move here. Stumbled across this site and probably have the record for most hours spent in a day on here. I am home all day and am checking for new posts ALL the time! I am a true SILO junkie.... my wife says I need ot go to meeting....:eek:

I was looking for morel websites.

I seen the link in one of Bob's posts in the Illinois section on morels.com

learned of this site thru " OLD SCHOOL ARCHERY " in new athens. the best archery shop around for knowledgeable service.

Searched for southern illinois muskie fishing and fortunately got sidetracked!
This was long before the muskie forum was added.

The BND article on Bob's Armadillo discorvery brought me over here.

I was lost, bored and starring at the TV thinking I am wasting away in front of this electronic box.

So I went to my computer and typed the words Southern Illinois Outdoors (after trying the words hunting, fishing, and possibly 1000 other words) when SILO popped up.

Now I sit in front of this electronic box...

googled for sportsman sites in southern IL

It's been a little while.
I believe I saw a SILO booth at the Collinsville Deer classic. Then one day I did a google search, found SILO, and signed up.

My son mikejulie said I could find some info on a old gun and that the folks here were real fun and knolagble. Have to agree on the fun part I guess the other will come with time. LOL

Looking up deer hunting on web and stumbled on this site and now it is my favorite site.

Cant believe I never answered. I've been on here so long I think I might have forgot. I think maybe I saw Bob's truck on I-64 while I was driving down to Pope County to go hunting one year. Then Googled it when I got home. Lurker for a while then finally joined up.
