I am trying to raise some money for prizes at this years Youth Bowfishing event at Carlyle lake. Last years event was awesome. Thanks to many people including those who donated (yes that's right donated) all the door prizes and the grand prize.
This year I'm hoping to make it even better by actually puchasing (at cost) some prizes.
This is where you come in...
Here's how it will work.
I'm going to auction a Night Bowfishing trip. All the proceeds will go to buy prizes for the Passing on the Traditions Youth Championship. The bidding will start now and end on April 8th at 8 p.m. I will also post this on our club forum. And if Mike will allow it, on Bowfishing country.
The trip will be on the evening of April 15th. (the Friday before the Billy Davis Memorial)
The trip will take place on Rend Lake.
Start time will be approximately one hour after sundown.
It will last up to 6 hours.
Fish disposal will be provided. Fish cleaning...is negotiable.
I will have all the fishing equipment. But if you have a bow set-up that you would like to use, that is fine.
What you will need to bring, rain gear, warm clothes (it can get cold on Rend at night), and if you want, snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic only). I will not take alcohol on the boat. Thank you.
Please bid it up! Your winning bid will go to fund smiles and memories. And it will help insure our sporting legacy will live on by sharing our love of the outdoors with these kids. Hence the name "Passing on the traditions..."
Thanks for looking, thanks for bidding, thanks for helping.
There is currently a bid of $150 from Robin Parks. Thank you Robin.
