Man I'm ready to start catchin some of them springtime crappie. Might go down to Mississippi in a couple of weeks with my dad. Has anybody been catchin 'em yet around here?

no, but i am thinkin about goin within the next couple of days if it warms up.

That's a big "if". I'm thinking next Saturday if we don't get any more storms like yesterday's through here before then.

Well went for a little bit today just to try. The bite was real slow the water was very muddy. The only fish I caught was on a red and chart jig below a bobber about 5 foot. I was fishing in about 8 ft of water over brush

Going to Sardis lake in Mississippi on the 13th for a few days of crappie fishing, hoping to catch a few like these.

Yea my dad and i have gone down there the past 2 years and hammered 'em. Sardis is a great lake. We were there for 4 days last year and caught around 80 over 12 inches. I love Sardis lake.

I've been down to Sardis myself the last couple of years. Awesome lake. caught a lot of keepers.
