I'm headed on a short roadtrip Wednesday AM to drop off my Browning w/ these guys:
http://www.colorandcamo.com
I wanted to take a peek at their operation as I've been hearing great things about the quality of their work and would like them to camo my A-5. I will be headed out to Effingham tomorrow afternoon but would gladly meet anybody enroute there or Paducah and deliver their hardware if ya want. Just a thought to save some folks some shipping if you would like. ISP can vouch for me not pawning yer gear once I get it. PM me before 1000 AM or call my cell: 618-806-5200.

I don't have it back yet...should be here any day. I had them do the full monte and it costs me $245 including them disassembling it and shipping. Base price is $165 + 15 each for bolt, trigger guard, 20 for teardown and 25 for shipping. I drove down there and looked at their work and spoke w/ the guys . I was impresssed at their sincerity and workmanship. I think Mann's is contracting w/ them so you could always go through them too if you wished.

Both...my hunting partner of many moons has a blind at the Glades and I hunt Diamond w/ some other buddies.

I was thinking about going this route after the season and was hoping someone was getting the job done by them. I was looking at the pricing and it says on just a few things that there is no warrenty for it, so is there a warrenty for their work?

Might try one of them camo skins from cables for the season just to see how it holds up.

I think what they refer to are for the scopes and you could ask them a bit more about it. According to them, the better scopes have their own warranty that covers camo dipping issues such as a leak. They said they have dipped many and only had 1 w/ a leak issue and thankfully that was covered by it's own factory warranty.

Okay, the UPS man dropped off my baby today and I am extremely pleased. I took these pics but couldn't get the light to really show the depth of colors.

OT
Dave if you come over next week the water at the City Lake it the worst I have seen in 30 years there, so we may have to walk to the blind, normally 3feet of water, currently 12-18 inches. But we will give it a try. Will keep you updated.

It took right at 4 weeks from drop off to delivery back at my house and I was starting to feel a bit frantic w/ season coming in Sat in Central. Now, I am ready.
