Is there any info out there .... I don't know, a local fisherman or baitshop number that I can call before driving all the way down to Baldwin. We have noticed that when the plant is running at 1/3 stacks running or less the fishing is sometimes less that stellar, 3/3 stacks it is just rockin'... I wish there was a way to know how many stacks they were running before heading that way.... any ideas?

There is a bait shop on the way there, but I think they are closed in the winter until maybe March. You could try calling the DNR office there and see if they can tell you.

If you wanna know how they are generating I'd call the site office... they can look out the window and tell you. Heck I can see the steam from my window here at work right now, and that is 28 miles away!

Funny, never occurred to call the site office, I guess because I have had trouble getting an answer before.... but they did return my call fairly promptly... yeah, good idea, I will give that a try...thanks
