Not as big as it looks, I am standing about two feet behind the fish. But just for fun guess it's weight. It was caught while jug fishing on the Kaskaskia river a few years back. Forgive me, it's been a long winter, but it will get warm and the catfish will still be there.

Cool photo but with you behind it a couple of feet my guess will be even farther off than if you were holding it. :D I will take a shot in the dark and say 27 lbs.

bdw, you are real close. 67lbs caught in 2001, all I had was a medium size dip net, it's head would not fit in the net so it was fun to get it in the boat by hand.
That is why I like jug fishing, you just never know what you might pull up.

No reason to ask forgiveness for posting fishing pics this time of year. A lot of us are getting the itch, and it has been a long cold winter. That is a real hawg.
