This late in the season, there are very few flowers left in the refuge. I found this one tucked off the side of the road alone in a bunch of weeds. No idea what kind of flower it is though -any ideas?

That was the same question I asked when I first started here! I think we decided yes..LOL That's a native/wild ageratum very similar to the hybrids that folks buy in the spring at the garden shops..but much hardier and drought tolerant...it's good to use in landscaping because it can tolerate our weather and doesn't require lots of extra watering etc. Some folks call it bluemink...
