These are just a few DragonFly's at the pond, Have always thought they were just a neat bug.

What settings did you have it on or was it just auto?

well just on auto.... still screwing everything up in macro... but I am working on it, also using a canon s3. Just reading the book and trial and error, only way I know, I'm sure that i am just missing one simple thing, but this is a new camera to me and actually my 1st digital, used to my old 35mm Cannon. I have been using the timed shot in macro on the tripod, other wise I just get it blurred. Hopefully more time will help. and learn a few tricks here and there.

In order to get a shot on mine, I have to push the flower button down on mine and then hit the shutter button down half way, then it zooms in....Also on mine if anything comes up red or the button flashed red that's not good.......it needs to be green on the light and grey on the settings.
Durning the day I use 100 iso and night I use 400 iso. I also set my aperture down to 2.8 on mine to get the good macro shots.....focuses in more to the subject.....Actually I think I like my aperture setting the best..?? I dont know....I still really dont know what Im doing yet, but maybe it will help???

Ok , this is the best I could do.....turned the brightness down a bit, uped the contrast, sharpen and then added a border...that 's it.....
