I have really been walking my arse off searching for my first shed. Well lets just say the way I found this one today was not how I was expecting to stumble upon one. So today Tenpoint and I were on our way to a job, he is driving. So while were chatting going down the interstate at 55 Im scanning the fields covered in snow. While looking I see this shed in the snow about 300 yards down in this field and knew it was big. So we continued on to our job all the while Tenpoint probably thinks Ive lost my mind that I could of spotted a shed from this distance. So we took a detour on the way back to the field and here it is my first shed. Yes this a field I already have permission to be in. They have been dropping fast in our neck of the woods. My friend who has been walking with me has found 2 already and we have seen many that have dropped both and some that still have one hanging on.

Pic doesnt do it justice. Really has some mass. So as you can tell I am very pleased to finally break the ice.

Didnt have my camera with me so I had to put out in the yard today for a pic. I wanted a pic of it the way it was found so had to take some at home n the snow.

IF so, then you need to try to kill that buck & maybe catch him with some live picture too.

Finding a shed of a nice buck, can be a great way to START a history with a mature buck.
