LOL LOL Smart man I have a trail camera that has the same cam in it as the one I used for these pic's. :p :p :p huntrz 09-14-2007, 10:07 he builds them himself, I wanna know how he gets the sensor to pick up the movement from the windmill at that distance>>>? mdoc 09-14-2007, 10:09 Het FL that one should be in Sept's contest! flatlander 09-14-2007, 10:26 he builds them himself, I wanna know how he gets the sensor to pick up the movement from the windmill at that distance>>>? I use a remote sensor. :D Mount one just below the spinners poiting up and I'm good to go. Sun causes a few false triggers so I just use more/larger memory. LOL gretchensteele 09-14-2007, 10:54 really nice..to make it just perfect, I would clone out the wire in the upper left...then you have a perfect calander, card, print image..the composition and rich color are both excellent in this!!! flatlander 09-14-2007, 11:03 Thanks everyone. Here you go Z these are the remote sensors I use. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a231/silbowhunter/X10mounts.jpg gretchensteele 09-14-2007, 11:07 okay I am going to sound terribly stupid..but how else will I learn... Are those motion detector sensors that will remotely auto trigger your camera to fire? stop laughing you guys.... flatlander 09-14-2007, 11:20 I do have 2 video trail camera's that use these remote sensors. The sensors aren't that great but get the job done. They have a lot of false triggers from wind/sun and shade combo's. http://www.siloutdoors.com/showthread.php?t=695 The other one is being set up in a case and uses a hand held remote to start recording and will be used to record my own hunts. I have posted about it some place, a while back. Here is the case (not finished) with ext mic that will be used. http://www.siloutdoors.com/imagehosting/446a96e3a22d66.jpg Hand held remote. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a231/silbowhunter/CamoSLimFireremote.jpg gretchensteele 09-14-2007, 11:25 Thanks..I am such a dummy about the trail cam stuff..you guys almost seem to be talking in a different language sometimes LOL |
