Here's some info on buluts. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balut) Not for the faint of heart. Yes I did try eating one while in the Philippines, and no I didn't succeed. You can't get me drunk enough to eat one of them, but a fertilized egg is no problem.

The one I tried hadn't developed that far. The middle was like duck soup, but the rest smelled like sulfur. Nope, you won't find me eating them either. Maybe I should've put a disclaimer warning on that one.
