According to my aunt, Grandma always said that an unusually hot summer will be followed by an early and unually cold winter. The Old Farmer's Almanac, however, says next year is going to be even warmer than this year, and they're only taking into consideration stuff like sunspot and natural stuff, no Al Gore predictions.

no mice inside her YET..but when they start on the corn behind the house..there will be a mouse super highway to my door..little tiny mousy moving trucks and a sign by the garden that says.."warm house..lots of food straight ahead.." They will come like a crowd of refugees...

I've got about 300-400 pictures and not enough tie to download them yet.
I have seen all the critters I wanted to except an Elk: I've seen a ton of antelope, several buffalo's, a bunch of mule and whitetail deer (including some nice bucks in the Badlands), a few porcupines, 2 black bears, a western diamond back rattler, a bald eagle, caught a trout (yeah just 1), bighorn sheep, mountain goats a great big rooster pjheasant, and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember. Believe me there will be pics posted in the next few weeks once I am home. Currently in Cheyenne, WY.

If you're anywhere near Yellowstone, you'll see elk.

Sounds Like you still need moose and a griz too...

I was out in Cheyenne some years back for a job interview and I sure would like to get back there w/ fishing rod in hand. Very cool area to the west.
