Six years ago I was unemployed and happened to have the TV on. Just a few short months before that the company that I had been working for almost sent me to work on a contract the the New York Port Authority. If my local manager had let me go I probably would've still been employed, but...I would have been working at the World Trade Center. All of their employees did make it out OK. I hadn't thought much about this the past few years, but I came that close to being in the World Trade Center on that fateful day.

Today is 9/11, and 6 years ago today the USA was attacked without warning by terrorists who killed just under 3,000 Americans and people from many other countries too.

This is about those who are no longer with us because of the terrorists, and of course the victims familes and friends who go on day after day missing those that perished.

All I ask is this: Take a few moments of your time today and in your own way reflect and remember them on this 6th anniversary.

Amen.

And while we're at it, hug someone close to you, tell the ones you love that you love them, and be sure to call someone you haven't talked to for a while to say 'hi'.

No way...

I had friends in NYC that day... still don't like watching the tapes... wish I had an enemy to look at that day rather than the cowardice displayed that day... I was ready to fight in the street, but the no gooders were wussies and wouldn't face me, and all you people....
