:) at the Popeyes picnic..The paper say 8:00 P.M. it used to be really good but who knows this year......We are going to go somewhere near town but not into town and watch..Theres a ball diamond just on the edge of town on Rt 3 , it has a large parking lot.Should be a good view.:)

we went down to see the fireworks, thought we'd go to the cemetery to get a better view, WHOA! WAY TO CLOSE! they were setting them off about 200 yards away, we also made the mistake of taking our dog, FREAKED him out bad, he was shaking and wimpering. I've never tried to take fireworks pics with a tripod so I thought I'd give it a shot, I'm not impressed, took about 50 pics, they just didn't turn out very good. this was the best, I'm going to delete the rest.

Fireworks are alot tougher than they look to shoot..at least for me..the settings etc. go against evrything that seems logical to me...I think you di a bang up job on shot...and Fun's video is really cool too....

I actually have a firework setting on mine but it sucks....never comes out light enough, so I just put it on custom and got to clickin away , I think because my camera has that fast turn around it helps......it's like 0.3 sec or something.....alot of people have noticed it when I take pics next to them they are mad because mine snaps right away????? I don't know though?
I was in the boat too on those ones I posted, but there werer some that didn't turn out....
