Nice video, the sound quality is great. So did they see you or smell you?

I was good until the wind changed you can see right as/after they run off the wind picked up, it never seems to stay from one direction either.
I got her about 2 hours later though when they came back. ;)

It can be a hassle but the time I didn't bring it last year I killed a buck and would have had several minutes of pre shot video if I would have had it with me.
I have a hard case I keep it in until I take it into the woods then I put it in my pack from the truck to the tree stand.

just hearing the leaves rustle, then seeing the movement gives me that little tingly feeling in my stomach! All from watching a video.

So what is your set up for filming? I've been doing a lot of picture taking and video with my phone on deer I'm not going to shoot, but have a sony handy cam mounted on my bow. I'm working on fabbing a camera arm for my phone, it takes some pretty good HD video, just won't be able to zoom, which for the most part is ok.

I have a Gorilla tree arm for the handycam, but I'm not sure of which side of the tree to try to put it on. Deer come from several different directions at times so figured the bow mount was the ideal set up. Only bad part seems to be the shock from the shot. I've been brainstorming on how to alleviate it but it's not going as well as I thought it could.

I use a Lone Wolf camera arm I mount it so that it is on my right side while sitting in the stand.

Nice set-up. I did a little filming today. Hard stuff going solo.

Gotta go through what I got, best day in stand yet. I'll make a thread later, don't want to hi-jak

How high would you say that stand is? It seems pretty high.

I really need to get a better head for the camera arm.

I was using a climber and will get as high as possible (up to 30') this set up was around 20'.

I really need to get a better (smoother) head for the camera arm.
